Classic Deviled Eggs Recipe (1)

Do you love deviled eggs?

You either love them or you don’t- but I sure hope you do!

They are THE perfect side dish for almost every holiday, potluck or BBQ and they are cheap and easy to make.

With Easter right around the corner I’m already planning on making these for our family dinner.

My boys love helping with these, too. I sometimes have to let go of how aesthetically pleasing they turn out when I have them help- but I think it’s a good trade off to have my boys involved with making them.

Because a pretty deviled egg really can be satisfying and pleasing- but it’s how they taste and the love that went into making them that really counts!

Substitutions

I know not everyone loves mayo so you could sub the may for 1\2 miracle whip with 1\2 plain greek yogurt.

You could also use avocado, pesto, or olive oil. – however I cannot vouch for the same taste or consistency.

Instead of mustard you could try hummus, egg yolk, dried mustard, dijon mustard or lemon juice.

If you need to make your mayo try add one egg, mustard, vinegar, and salt then process for another 20 seconds. Slowly add the oil, in tiny drops, until about a quarter of the oil has been added.
