co*cktails and Other Drinks
I hear Spring has arrived. Here in San Francisco, the weather only slightly fluctuates all year round, so seasons don’t mean much to me. I know many of you have been facing snow until very recently though, and you must be very happy to welcome warmer weather. Raising a glass of this cold, fruity white sangria is the perfect way to toast the new season. (For those of you still facing snow, well, maybe this drink will give you a taste of spring!) This white wine sangria recipe is so super easy. It took me all of five minutes to put it together, and then it was in the fridge ready for co*cktail hour. Use fresh or frozen peaches and strawberry to get the best taste. Cheers!

Andi,
this looks so good! Can I make it the day before the party?

Thanks, Wendy! Yes, you can make it a day ahead, but you might want to add the strawberries before serving. I’m worried they would get too soft if they sit for more than a day. The flavor would be good though! I just don’t want you to be disappointed if you have mushy berries and it doesn’t look like the picture :)

So sorry, Katelynn! The recipe should be working now. I’ve been having trouble with the software that formats my recipes lately, so I appreciate you letting me know so I could get it fixed. Happy Birthday! Mine is this week too :)

Yum, Yum, Yummy! I love sangria. I’ve made it a couple of times for me and the hubby. Your version brings back fond memories of our honeymoon in Bryson City, North Carolina. Sitting in the spa cafe, sippin’ on sangria. Thanks for posting.

simply beautiful :-) I am regretfully bowing out of Happy Hour today as I have to head to my kids’ school for art show setup. BUT, I hear the art ladies (of which I am one, I guess) go out afterward for co*cktails, so I’ll try to post whatever I order in your honor. Liking your sangria very much. What movie is on tap for you tonight?

Thank you, Liz!! Happy hour out sounds fun! Those PTA mamas love their co*cktails (at least around here), so I’m sure you will be in good company. Would love to see what you order!
We actually had early movie night last night because it worked out better for scheduling. They watched something cheesy from Netflix streaming, Jester something. Don’t think that one made it to the theater ;)
